A little of my story
Hi, I’m Candace—a former teacher turned podcaster, producer, and mentor, passionate about helping others share their voices through podcasting.
I grew up in Southeast Minnesota and still call this beautiful area home, living on Lake Pepin with my family. As the oldest of four, I fit the firstborn, eldest daughter mold—driven, determined, and always striving to help others reach their fullest potential. As an Enneagram 3, I thrive on taking action and bringing ideas to life.
My journey into podcasting wasn’t planned, but looking back, it makes perfect sense.
After 13 years in the classroom and three babies in three years, I realized how important it was to be intentional with my time.
That realization led me down an entrepreneurial path, where I found my passion for storytelling, connection, and content creation.
In 2021, I launched Better Brave Podcast, a space where I share real, honest conversations about business, mindset, and growth.
Nearly 200 episodes later, I’ve not only built a podcast I love, but I’ve also helped others bring their own shows to life—through editing, production, strategy, and guesting opportunities.
